MESSAGES FROM FATHER JIM

In your prayers kindly remember the sick and those who care for them, the lonely, the handicapped, those isolated, and those who have died.

INTRODUCTION TO THE LITURGY – Theme: Discipleship: Being with the Lord – Discipleship is not something casual. It is a process that requires a growth in understanding, a deeper knowledge of the master, a growth in Christian awareness. To know Jesus is to know the Father (Jn 14:9) but this is possible only when we “stay” or “abide” with Christ. To be truly Christian is to realize that we belong to a new household, living in and with the triune God.

Notice from the Rectors Desk – Since Premier Ford announced the lockdown, in light of this, Fr. Jim will continue with weekend and daily masses and since only 10 people can be present in the church for mass including the priest, parishioners may stay in their cars in the church parking lot and tune in at 88.1 radio station and Fr. Jim will gladly come out and give communion as you stay in the comfort of your car.

Always remember that we can never be certain about the future.

Things can turn around in a blink of an eye.

But be certain that whatever the future holds, God will be with you in every situation.
