MESSAGES FROM FATHER JIM

In your prayers kindly remember the sick and those who care for them, the lonely, the handicapped, those isolated, and those who have died, Dorothy O’Meara & Jacqueline Fuisz.

INTRODUCTION TO THE LITURGY – Theme: Mission – Amos was not a prophet by his own choice, nor would he cease to be one by another’s decision. Yahweh had missioned him. The Marcan account of the missioning of the twelve is marked by sense of urgency. In the first chapter of Ephesians, we are reminded of our calling as sons and daughters of God, its cost, and our concomitant responsibility.

FROM THE RECTORS DESK – We arrive again at that time of the year when many of our young people are graduating and moving on from either Cathedral School or Bishop Smith High School to further their education. With our congratulations and our prayers for their continued success in their academic pursuits. To their parents, teachers and all who were involved in their educational journey our sincere gratitude. To all, our prayer and best wishes for a happy and safe summer vacation.
